Timeline at Mary Immaculate College Limerick - November 2014.
Six of my large paintings are showing along An Sli at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, for the month of November 2014. This space is alongside the new entrance to The Lime Theatre.

idir Art Exhibition at New York Foundation for the Arts, Dumbo, New York. Runs until 30th January, 2015.
Thursday 9th October saw the launch of the idir exhibition, G.E.T.1. at New York Foundation for the Arts, in Brooklyn, New York.
The
exhibition was curated by David C. Terry, Director of Programs and Curator at
NYFA and David also acted as MC on the night.
Speakers included Michael Royce, Executive Director of NYFA; David
Donoghue, Irish Ambassador to the U.N.; Fiona McCabe, Vice Consul, Consulate
General of Ireland in New York, and Iris Park, Chairperson of idir. idir performances were by Alison McKenna, Frances
Mezzetti and Sinead Cullen, and Eleonore Nicolas. Hozier, our special guest,
performed two songs ‘Take me to church’ and ‘In a Week’.
Thanks to everyone for their support, help and advice in this venture. In particular thanks to The New York Foundation for the Arts and Culture Ireland. Also thanks to my family, the other idir artists and their families and supporters who travelled to New York to make the opening event a night to remember.
We had a
great attendance at the event as you can see from the photographs below.

idir Exhibition at New York Foundation for the Arts, opening 9th October, 2014.
Over the
past year I have been working with twenty six artists who met at the 2013 NYFA
Bootcamp in Dublin. This training event was organised by the Centre for
Creative Practice, Dublin.
G.E.T.1,
idir's first exhibition, curated by David C. Terry, NYFA’s Director of
Programs/Curator, opens on next Thursday October 9th, from 6 - 9 p.m. at New
York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) 20 Jay Street, Suite 740, Brooklyn, NY 11201. The exhibition runs until
the 30th January, 2015.
This
exhibition promises to be a really exciting mix of painting, film and
performance. If you have any friends or colleagues in New York who might
